Our Cedarwood Essential Oil is steam distilled from sustainably sourced wood shavings of Deodar Cedar (Cedrus deodara) and Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica), producing a rich, warm and deeply grounding essential oil that has long been treasured as a foundational note in fine perfumery and aromatherapy.

Although the majestic cedar trees that once gave the Cederberg Mountains their name are now believed to be extinct in the region, their legacy lives on through the landscape itself. Today, we honour that heritage by carefully selecting exceptional cedarwood from closely related species renowned for their aromatic qualities.

Distilled in small batches, this 100% pure, unblended essential oil reveals a beautifully balanced fragrance with sweet woody notes, subtle undertones and a soft, resinous warmth.
